LIC Market is a restaurant and market located in the heart of Long Island City’s business district. We are open Monday & Tuesday 7:00am - 4:00pm & Wednesday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, serving full breakfast and lunch menus with daily specials. We are now serving dinner Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evenings from 6:00pm - 10:00pm. On Saturday & Sunday we offer brunch from 11:00am - 4:00pm.
Our vision is to bring great food, service and atmosphere to the neighborhood we love. Chef and owner Alex Schindler has created menus focused on all things seasonal, local and delicious! Our marketplace offers a selection of house made items and gourmet ingredients found throughout the menu.

"This ongoing series, LIC ARTIST, was started in the summer of 2010. After visiting artist studios during LIC OPEN Week, and discovering such a rich array of visual artists in their incredible studios, I decided to create a non-curatorial photo series that celebrates this wealth of talent. I eventually want to cover most of the active artists that work or live in the LIC and surrounding areas...”
Orestes has exhibited his work in NYC, Miami, Buenos Aires, Spain and France. He has shown at the Jeffrey Leder Gallery and is represented by The Barbara Gillman Gallery In Miami.
